Tioga PointMuseumThe Tioga Point Museum in Athens houses the manuscript of Stephen Foster's first song, "The Tioga Waltz," along with other memorabilia from the noted composer/song writer. George Tidd donated his fine collection of rare books, including a "Book of the Hours," which was illuminated by monks during the Middle Ages. The museum is also home to a large collection of Indian artifacts and other mementos of the areas' past.
