Bradford County

Geography

Bradford county covers 1,150 square miles and borders the counties of Susquehanna and Wyoming on the east, Sullivan county on the south, Tioga county on the west, and the state of New York on the north. The elevation range is 660' to 2380' above sea level.the 60,967 population reside primarily on the floodplains of the Susquehanna River and Towanda, Sugar, Wysox, and Bentley Creeks. The county seat is located at Towanda. Major highway system servicing Bradford County includes route 220 (n/s) and us route 6 (e/w).
