The DogwoodTrailThe Dogwood Trail, an exquisitely eloquent memorial to our country's fallen soldiers, extends from Wyalusing to Wysox in Bradford County. The Trail was planted in the late 1930's by the women of the Daughters of the American Revolution and was a pet project of the wife of then Governor Gifford Pinchot. Governor Pinchot was the nation's first professional forester. The trail can be viewed from U.S. Route 6 east of Wyalusing across from the Friedenshutten Restaurant and from the Homet's Heights area.
